Phone Systems

We deal with all kinds of phone systems due to the fact that each business is different in its on way.  When a customer wants to replace their system we always like to do an evaluation and determine what is best for your business, large or small.  We understand that sometimes what you need is not what your business can always afford.  If that is an issue and that system is what your business wants/needs we can try to find a way to finance it for you.  If that is not possible or you want something else we can try to find another system that is more economical.

There are many types of phone systems out there and many can many of the same features.  So when considering a new system there are several things you need to consider and think about. 

First being the brand of phone system.  Most people do not think brand matters in a phone system, unfortunately it does and I will explain why.  When you stick with a brand name you are buying a system that generally will be in use for a long period of time (for the exception you buy one that is about to be phased out).  Think about it this way if you buy a phone system from a company that is just starting out and they go out of business the system will have lost its warranty and the ability to get replacement parts.  If you have not experienced this count your blessings for in the phone world this happens all the time to small companies trying to branch out.  Many small business's in an effort to spend less money have bought no name systems and in less than 5 years the company went under.  Always consider this and talk to the representative about it.

Second being price of the phone system.  When selecting your ultimate goal is to get the phone system that bests suits your business.  Sometimes this is in your budget and sometimes it may not be.  The key is not to overspend your business's hard earned money.  Consider this what does the phone system have without any upgrades and is the system expandable in the future.  Maybe consider starting out with the system you want but not with all the features and as your business grows or has more money then expand the system to its full potential.

Third being the features on the phone system.  I did include this but it is third to consider due to several factors.  Features are what makes a phone system and of course meets the criteria of each business.  Some business's require certain features while others have no need for them.  There are many phone systems out there that are now offering many basic features without having to do any expensive upgrades.  So find out what it can do before you buy.  Do not waste money on something someone wants you to buy, for every salesman is not looking out for your best interests (maybe just theirs).  Also with technology advancing in many directions you can consider traditional phone systems or IP based phone systems and/or hosted phone systems.  Always make sure it does what benefits your companies best interest.

Fourth being the company installing the phone system.  I listed this last, but it is just as important as the first.  Think of it this way if someone installs the phone system properly it can last a long time.  If installed improperly it may only last a short time.  Always consider what the company that installs it recommends.  To many times lightning protection is offered but not taken, and then when bad weather comes and the phone system gets damaged or destroyed its too late.  Many manufactures consider that negligence and will not warranty the product.
